Medical Assessment

If there are medical circumstances or you have a disability that is affected by your current accommodation points are awarded by our medical advisor as follows:

• No priority – Points given 0
• Low Priority (low detriment to health) – Points given 5
• Low to Medium Priority (moderate detriment to health) – Points given 10
• Medium Priority (chronic health conditions) – Points given 15
• High Priority (serious detriment to health) – Points given 25
• Urgent Priority (not life threatening) – Points given 50
• Urgent Priority (life threatening) – Points given 75

Where there is more than one applicant in a household with a medical need an assessment of the points to be awarded will be based on the household's overall need.
