Some properties might be subject to a local lettings policy or plan which means that particular additional criteria apply. This will always be identified in the property advert. Local lettings plans are agreed between Chelmsford City Council and the Housing Association whose property is being advertised. An example of this might be where a rural housing development has additional local connection requirements, in order to give priority to those in housing need within the village or parish.
